The cutest Apple Wreath Craft for Kids!
Great to make anytime of year and it’s perfect for the kitchen.
It is so simple to make!
You will need:
A piece of sturdy paper or thin cardboard that will be easy to cut.
About 13 apple ornaments or other crafting apples. (The amount of apples you use depends on the size of the apple ornaments you choose .)
One glitter bow.
Bowls for tracing to make the wreath. (8 inches and 4 inches)
Two wooden clothes pins.
A hot glue gun.
Trace the 8-inch bowl on the paper, then trace the 4-inch bowl inside the 8-inch circle. Cut out both circles. The tracing bowls make it easy for a kindergartener to help make the circles.
You should have a perfect wreath shape.
Heat up your hot glue gun. Do not let young children use the glue gun. Older children can use it with constant adult supervision.
Glue the glitter bow on first. Glue one apple at a time filling the wreath until you like how it looks. Apply the glue directly to the paper and press apples into the glue. Doing it this way helps to keep hot glue burns at bay. Use a good gob of hot glue.
An adult should hot glue the clothespins onto the back of the wreath.
I glued the finished wreath directly to my mirror using the clothespins, but you can clip it to a sturdy hanging line, also. I waited five seconds before pressing the glued pins to my mirror making sure it was not too hot. I have read of people concerned with the hot glue cracking the mirror, but I have not had that happen. The mirror I used has thick glass and it worked just fine.
Do not use on plexiglass.
This was a super fun craft to make with my 6-year-old daughter! Happy crafting!:)

Where can you find the apples?
Hello! Look at Walmart and the Dollar Tree. Another place that carries them is Hobby Lobby or any crafting store.😊
