Add some country and sparkle to your home with this Country Christmas Wreath!
I had some straw wreaths last year and wanted to add more color to my front porch.
These wreaths added the perfect touch and they are easy to make! I adore easy DIY crafts since I am a busy homeschooling mom.
When I discover a beautiful craft to make in an affordable easy way I like to share it with others.
This craft is so affordable that it makes a doable last-minute decor addition!
Affordable Supplies
Straw wreaths
A strand of beaded Christmas garland (buy enough to double and wrap around the entire wreath)
Red Sparking Bows
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Fishing line
Scissors
The straw wreaths come in different sizes, so choose the size that fits your decor needs best.
Purchase enough garland to fill up your size wreaths.
What you need to do
1. Tightly wrap the doubled bead garland around the straw wreath hot gluing each section on the back of the wreath.
Take your time to not glue your fingers with the very hot glue.
2. Next, attach the bow with hot glue.
3. Cut a generous piece of fishing line to attach the wreath to windows, doors, porches, barns…. and on and on the list goes!
Loop the fishing line around the top of the wreath and tie tightly to attach.
Cut off the excess line after hanging to assure perfect hanging placement.
The color choices and combinations are endless that you could try!
Have fun creating your wreath!
Happy Crafting,
Christina 🙂
